40 Jahre Minguet Quartett

Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy & Fanny Hensel Gesamteinspielung abgeschlossen

Das Minguet Quartett, gegründet 1988, feiert 2028 sein 40-jähriges Bestehen. Im Rahmen seiner Jubiläumsaktivitäten und langjährigen künstlerischen Arbeit hat das Ensemble eine Gesamteinspielung der Streichquartette von Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy und Fanny Hensel beim Label cpo vorgelegt. Die nun letzte CD ist am 19. Februar 2026 erschienen. In diesem Zusammenhang hat das Label cpo eine vierbändige Edition veröffentlicht. Bereits im Jahr 2000 haben das Minguet Quartett und das Auryn Quartett gemeinsam das Streichoktett op. 20 beim Label tacet aufgenommen: Der Auftakt zum großangelegten Mendelssohn-Projekt!

Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy & Fanny Hensel Complete recording finalised

The Minguet Quartet, founded in 1988, will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2028. As part of its anniversary activities and long-standing artistic work, the ensemble has released a complete recording of the string quartets by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Fanny Hensel on the cpo label. The final CD was released on 19 February 2026. In connection with this, the cpo label has published a four-volume edition. Back in 2000, the Minguet Quartet and the Auryn Quartet jointly recorded the String Octet Op. 20 on the tacet label: the start of the large-scale Mendelssohn project!
